Naoe Sasaki is an award-winning pianist who, in addition to his numerous performances as a soloist and chamber musician, is involved in the artistic direction of the Munich Pianists' Club and works as a piano teacher.

Artist Bio

Naoe Sasaki

born in 2000 in Munich to Japanese parents, grew up in a musical family. Apart from receiving initial pianistic inspiration from his mother, he never had regular piano lessons but largely taught himself to play the piano.

In 2019, he began his studies with Prof. Thomas Böckheler at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, initially as a junior student and then, in 2020, as a bachelor's student, successfully completing his degree in 2024. Since 2024, Naoe has been pursuing his master's degree with Prof. Silke Avenhaus.

Naoe Sasaki is a multiple prizewinner of the "Jugend musiziert" competition. In 2021, he received an award at the Clavis International Piano Competition. Since 2024, he has been a scholarship holder of "Live Music Now" Munich. His most recent achievements include winning first prize at the Vienna International Music Festival 2024.

In addition to his numerous appearances as a soloist and chamber musician, Naoe is actively involved in the artistic direction of the Munich Pianists' Club and also works as a piano teacher.
